Doing dumbbell squats this afternoon. Warming up with 40 lb dumbbells and when I went down to the ground and came up I felt a pull/twinge in my lower back, right side. Intense pain and difficulty walking. Came home and iced immediately. Feels ok when I’m seated but when I get up from a seated position I have a shocking pain. Standing is ok now but still a little painful. No numbness or tingling but intermittent pain in front quad.

AIDS, muscle pull or disc involvement? Thanks in advance.

None of the above, you were lifting 40lb dumbells. Probably just have your pad on sticky side up.

Bruh. First set warming up. Been doing this for over twenty years and never injured myself.

Stretch first? Lol

Pre-fatigue with leg extensions or bw lunges to get the blood flowing.

Just busting your balls. I pulled a muscle in my back stepping up onto a work table that was 18" off the ground. Best advice I can give is don't let it get tight. Walk around a little. Doesn't sound spinal.

Reach around to just underneath your a-hole and pull the BBC out of your anus. Hope you're a lib, because it's common with them to catch this.

Your form was shite with too much extension in your back relying on your hip flexors to stabilize your spine. Stretch your hip flexors. You’ll live

You’re welcome

Bruh you come to th OT with an injury with 40 lb dumbells? Lol.

If you regularly work out, my non medical professional guess is just a muscle strain. Take some Advil and man up.

Simple back spasm. Ice it for first 24-36 hrs then heat.

Walk every now and then to keep it limber but take it easy. No lifting or chores.

OP

you ever watch the show, "Monsters inside me"? You might be better off using WebMD. The horrific misdiagnosis on that show are scary.
