Yes, but last time I had my driver try to scam me with a $150 cleaning fee. He poured water on his back seat, and tried to say I pissed all over it.
Problem for him was that I sat in the front seat, and both bars I was at had videotape of me getting in and out of the front seat. I threatened to go to the cops, and he gave me my $150 back.
Gonna take taxis from now on

Don't say this. That's like step 4 to always having to tip. Don't feel obligated. If the driver is cool, makes you laugh, is smoking hot, etc, then tip. If it's a normal ride, don't. Pretty soon these average drivers with no credentials will expect 25% like useless college students who wait tables d
Dont be so stingy, rabbi, this is the sort of comment that gives your people a bad name.

tip no less then $20 for every mile they drive, plus the standard fare of course
how hard is it to do simple math? you tip 10% for little to no real service above and beyond the normal service required of them and if they do things for you that goes above and beyond the normal service required of them then tip 15% and make it 20% if she is hot and flirts with you

Yes and I always tip after the fact on the app. As long as I got home safe and sound and they provided me a good ride I’ll always tip. If I’m using UBER it’s because I can’t drive or need a ride. As long as I maintain my 4.9 rating I will always get a ride ASAP so if tipping $1 per ride secures me a ride ASAP I’ll keep tipping.
Which is BS. If you pay the agreed upon price for the agreed upon service, why should your rating and “pickup-ability” suffer? Did they go a step further? They help you carry your groceries up, drive you further than agreed upon? Why should they get extra? They didn’t give any extra.
