I don’t believe in tipping but I do it .
I don’t believe waiting is more difficult than other jobs. The restaurant industry has simply convinced us to pay the salary of there employees. It’s pretty much bullshite.

Restaurants would just raise prices by 18% if they had to pay minimum wage and you'd get worse service.

why is a woman even looking at the tip line if she's not paying?

A country full of fatties isn't going to stop eating out less. 95% of people tip already so it wouldn't cost us more. Just you

i do tip, just not at restaurants. what "service" is a waitress/waiter providing me? they dont cook the food. they dont put food on the plate. they walk to a drink station once or twice for a sit down meal and type your order into a computer. thats worth 15-20% sometimes even more? (understandable if its a party or a large group)

If you can't afford to tip, stay your lazy arse at home and cook.

Clearly, the fact that you as a whole don't "tip", means you are more than likely living above your means...

Ill tell you what, you stop being a dickhead and start tipping, and in 30 years when your checking my receipt at walmart,... i'll remember this and won't give you a hard time.

You clearly eat at crappy restaurants. Maybe that's why you are a douchenozzle.

Unless you are a regular twice a week or more, they don't know you.

You can always tip a percentage up front and say there's more for excellent service. Works for my FIL.

Is it my problem the restaurant chooses to pay their employees $2/hr meanwhile profiting on food items, drinks, etc? Or am I considered a sh.... person?

Of the two options you present, the second is most likely.

20% every time unless they are intentionally rude. Cause it's easy to calculate

I don’t. Instead, I tip myself 15% if I go eat out and buy myself something nice at the end of the year.

You've got to be fricking kidding me. How big of a classless cheapskate are you? People like you are the worst.
