Do you tip at restaurants?

I don’t. Instead, I tip myself 15% if I go eat out and buy myself something nice at the end of the year.
Is it my problem the restaurant chooses to pay their employees $2/hr meanwhile profiting on food items, drinks, etc? Or am I considered a shitty person?

I tip big because I want the perks when I go back. Plus, I am not a fricking cheapskate.

so the restaurant under pays their employees while overcharging you for food and you’re expected to make up the employees low pay rate, not their employer, by tipping them?
Its a scam - and I always tip

Yes, it is. If they paid their employees a traditional wage and they wanted to keep their profit margins, you obviously wouldn't be able to afford to eat out at all.

They make full minimum an hour here, plus tips, and the prices are the same as anywhere else. I don't understand it.

The more interesting question is: why don't we tip in other service jobs?
Get those grocery clerks jumpin'

Not true. Restaurants would be forced to decrease profit margins.

Women don't like men who don't tip.
So how do you convince a woman to actually sleep with you? Chloroform? Liquid morphine?

I hope that you never visit the same restaurant twice
