I don't have an opinion on any of this stuff with Brexit. I can't say I've educated myself on it enough to have one.
But is the stock market really the best measurement of economic strength? It's probably good at measuring public sentiment of investors, but public sentiment can with some regularity be wrong.

The stock market sure as hell doesn't go up 18% if a majority of investors expect the economy to collapse, which is what the anti-Brexit zombies have been predicting would happen.

Nobody said the transition would be an easy one. It’s been barely a little over a year. It’s not as if England has never stood on its own two feet before. They ruled the world not that long ago. Getting rid of addiction is a little bumpy until you lick it.

Well, Housing prices in London fell last quarter for the first time since the recession. Many international companies have stopped transferring/ hiring people in london and are making plans to move to other EU countries in the near future. There are other factors than Brexit at play with housing prices but Brexit is a factor.

Every expat and citizen I know in London was against Brexit when it occurred. The whole thing sounds like the US now with Trump in office - big city folk dislike the guy, rural folk love the guy.

Most British I've talked to are happy with that. London has gotten insanely expensive, and insanely full of immigrants. I don't feel like looking it up, but I know more than a few Brits I've talked to are fed up with all the immigrants.
The huge issue with Britain is that a huge majority of the economy runs out of London which is very foreign based with both workers and economy. So the change is going to be hard, but I agree its the best for the long run.
So many things that Britain and Germany are trying to do are being held back by the EU. It'd be like if the USA was trying to support Mexico and all of Central America to catch up with the USA financially.

Let me clarify: cops would go into some areas only if they were called(homicide, burglary in progress)
They would not parol all areas. shite pay and a small force will take a toll on you especially in a lot of areas in Detroit. Detroit couldn't even pay their electricity bill. It was the wild west out there at that time.
So NO, they don't "have to" patrol every area.

Germany is not held back by the EU, quite the opposite. They are the economic bully of the area with a captive market as a result of the EU
