Do you think that nested maintenance hands are the junior varsity of industrial crafts?

There’s definitely something to the fact that operator Baws constantly complain about the in house help.

Operators spend lots of time and effort in prepping equipment for you to work on, and you have the audacity to sit on a permit for hours while not actually turning the wrench.

The only hours you should be paid are ones when your gloves are donned, and safety glasses fogging up. Of course that couldn’t happen because that would only be 45 minutes out of your 8 hour day.

Instrument technicians are included. They are the worst of the entitled bunch.

Operators get paid for being experts, you are paid to do work. Please live up to your end of the deal.

Is this board more populated by operator types than I thought? I bet they're the ones that have been calling themselves "engineers" for years.

Yeah, I just speed read it and picked up the keywords: wrench, 8-hour workdays, something about a crow's nest, and an operator.

No thanks to all of that.

You should bring this up in the board room and propose an Agile reorganization.

Oh wait...

Don’t forget the contractor hands taking numerous smoke breaks, coming for permits without having their tools and parts on site, and hour lunch breaks.
