There is no reason to cycle Creatine
I took it religiously but had a high creatinine reading on a blood test back in 2017 and have cycled it since then on the doctors recommendation. I wasn’t very good about staying hydrated, perhaps that’s why the blood test came in high because the literature agrees with you.

Why even take creatine unless you're trying to add bulk? I thought there were negative side effects to it?

How does one get NAC? Google seems to think it's a prescription?
Is there quality NAC available over the counter online?
The FDA was going to try to ban selling it because it has a pharmacuetical patent. Just as a frick you because it actually works.
So like a year and a half ago most places pulled it.
But a couple weeks ago they ruled they are not doing it, yet
Its back online everywhere including Amazon

I take a multi vitamin. Not sure if it helps but it makes my pee a bright yellow.

Also to answer the thread, I take a multivitamin and Ashwagandha.
My multi is a whole food vitamin and I truly believe I feel the results. "Alive Whole Food Vitamins"

When my nephew started at UF on a football scholarship, they made him hit the weights. He weighed maybe 250 and the physical training staff told him his goal playing weight was 325. Took about a year to gain the weight (his body fat was 8%, and he was ripped).
Your nephew did not gain 75 pounds of muscle in a year

I take it because I’m always trying to add lean muscle mass and creatine is known to help with that.

Along with a multi-vitamin, I take quercetin daily.
It has helped with my seasonal allergies and is supposed to boost immunity (by allowing zinc more access to the cells in your body).
Since I started, I haven't even had my normal summer and winter colds.

I drink ashwaganda tea and was considering starting a supplement. Curious about this pancreatitis as well, guess I need to read more to see if this Is a known side effect

Ashwagandha actually makes a difference in my general anxiety and mood. I'm able to relax more at night and turn off my mind from work.
It took a bit for it to start working though, I think it builds up in your system.

quote:Sir, I regret to inform you that your nephew was on everything in DVinBR’s post.
When my nephew started at UF on a football scholarship, they made him hit the weights. He weighed maybe 250 and the physical training staff told him his goal playing weight was 325. Took about a year to gain the weight (his body fat was 8%, and he was ripped). He ate tons of creatine, powdered protein, and ate large quantities of meat. He carried around a gallon jug of water to keep hydrated (said it was necessary because of the creatine load). Their weight training staff were some of the best in the business. He became the starting center under Grossman. After he graduated, he stopped all the heavy lifting/eating and protein/ creatine supplements and got down to 240. I gather from watching him that if you want to get ripped, creatine & protein supplements work.

I'm going to wait to comment until Mingo tells me what to think.

I did not want to be vaccinated against Covid. I found a new doctor who put me on a supplement regimen to strengthen my immune system. It has worked very well. The same doctor also recommended more sleep, regular exercise, healthy food, fresh air/sunshine, etc. My elderly parents use the same supplements and are also doing well.
