Do you take screenshot of your phone when you get QR code ticket?

I almost missed a flight one time because I couldn't get to the internet on my phone to open the email with the code.
Ever since then I don't care what I'm getting the code for I take a screenshot immediately because I know unless my phone battery is dead I can get to that picture no matter what is going on.

Is QR code like a discount or something? Amazon is always giving me codes. Didn’t know they were called QR.

No.
I just think young people look at us and laugh. Another example is that I have never purchased music exclusively on download. I always buy the hard copy and load it onto my sources. I feel like “if I am paying for it, I need a real copy that they can’t take away”.
My kids laugh at me.

Always screenshot it.
At the gate, lock the screen orientation AND set screen brightness to Maximum.
That way it won’t rotate off the screen and the image reader can easily see the QR code.
