I'm the type of person who doesn't have the patience to stand by the microwave. So the beep tells me it's done/ reminds me I microwaved something in the first place.

I try to stop it the millisecond that it is on :00 so I use all the time and it doesn't beep

My mother did this all the time growing up, every time I went through the kitchen I would go to the microwave and clear it.

Yes, and it's good to know I'm not the only one. My wife hates it when I forget to clear it after doing that too.

I hate hearing beeps and ringtones and alarms...
That means: stop on :01, phone on vibrate, and no alarm clock.

Look at the microwave instructions for a pop tart: "microwave for 3 seconds." If you leave it at :01 no way that puppy's cooked through.

I always stop it at or before 0:01 left, because I hate hearing the alarm. But I always clear it right after. I hate when people don't clear the microwave.
