People that are still wearing mask let you know they're not playing with a full deck! It's a good thing for normal people to adjust and not associate with them.

Japanese people wear them like they're belts. And that was before Covid.

At least 10 to 15 a week, easily.

They are holding out until the Democrats tell them they don’t need them.

The Asian woman next door still wears one outside while walking her dog on nearly empty suburban sidewalks
There is literally zero chance of catching or spreading anything in that scenario

That’s cool. Here’s the sworn testimony of the CEO of Southwest Airlines debunking your claims:

But by all means, if the mask makes you feel safe or you think it’s a sign that you “care,” continue wearing them. Just know it’s all for optics.

Ranking member Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., asked the CEOs about air quality on planes while posing the question, "Will we ever be able, do you think, to get on an airplane without masks?"
Speaking to discussions on air quality, Kelly said, "The statistics I recall is that 99.97% of airborne pathogens are captured by the [high efficiency particulate air] filtering system, and it's turned over every two or three minutes."
"I think the case is very strong that masks don't add much, if anything, in the air cabin environment," Kelly said. "It's very safe, and very high quality compared to any other indoor setting."

I’ve always wondered why is this the case?

Because of my allergies, I wear a mask now when cutting grass.

Masks clearly have efficacy for stopping visible particles like dirt, dust, and sand. Mandating them to stop a respiratory virus was never based on any science. It’s our generation’s “duck and cover” moment.

A bit of an overreaction to something that does not affect you in any way.
