I work outside during the day so I shower in the evening, usually right when I get home.

That's honestly a conundrum of who is more dangerous. You use PPE at work, and probably aren't exposed to much more than I was sitting next to H1Bs that don't attempt to cover their mouths when they sneeze. Meanwhile, your kids are rubbing boogers on classmates that have lice, etc.
