I'm in my 80s and I still need my mom to pull off the covers to wake me up.

One emergency alarm set for 7:40, but I really don't use it. Get up around 7:00 to pee

I need an alarm because it takes me forever to fall asleep and I have to be up at 6:30 to make it to work on time, and 5 if I go work out before.

No. I'm self motivated and an adult.
But my wife still puts a fresh cup of black coffee on my night stand every morning 2 minutes before my alarm clock goes off.
Drink coffee in bed while watching morning news. Then get up and shower.
She is a huge morning person, it's annoying. I wake up, but she wakes up going 100 mph.

But it's the one thing that scares the hell out of me.
Ever have the dream of showing up unprepared because you forgot about a trial?

Not usually. Either I wake up on my own, or wife, or one of the kids, more often earlier than normal. Strangely, alarm clocks are not used and we never oversleep.

No. But I have the recurring dream about showing up to a college final for a class I didn't attend all semester. The funny thing is that I'm answering all of the questions correctly.
I have to be in court early tomorrow (weather permitting, we're expecting up to 10 inches of snow tomorrow) and I will be setting all 4 alarms. If I get up on time (fingers crossed), I'll be watching the local news at 6:00 am to see whether or not the courts are open.

As an adult no. But if my mom hadn't woke me up for high school I prolly wouldn't have graduated.

I have this dream often too!

I don't set an alarm unless I have a test. My classes are later so I just wake up whenever I can.

I'm a heavy sleeper. I have an alarm clock with 2 alarms and my phone as a backup.
Occasionally I still oversleep.
I have slept through thunderstorms and tornadoes with ease. I slept through the April 2011 tornadoes and didn't even know they happened.
