Do you remove your sunglasses when talking to someone?

I don't like conversating with someone when I'm staring at my reflection. If someone comes up to me and wants to be sociable I make a point to take the glasses off. Obviously if its a buddy then we know each other well enough that its not necessary but with people I don't know or don't know well then I feel its tactful to do so.
I won't lose any sleep over someone else not removing their sunglasses but I do appreciate when they have the manners to do so.

I didn't know this was a thing. If I'm wearing sunglasses I'm obviously outside and it's sunny. I've never even thought of removing my sunglasses to talk to someone.

May be only my thing, I dunno.
But you can't deny looking someone in the eye when talking to then is important as a firm handshake. Hard to do when one of them is wearing sunglasses.

I understand the idea and the reasoning for why you would do it. I just don't think I've ever seen it happen. Maybe I have and didn't pay attention

Nope. I need to be able to see what's going on around us without them thinking I'm avoiding eye contact.

It’s very much a thing. You should always remove sunglasses when talking to someone.

Once again the OT is helping uncultured swine, like myself, become more civilized citizens.

I don’t remove them.
And if any plebe dares look me in the eye I have them severely flogged.
Respect and discipline are important.

What we have is failure to communicate.

I don't. It gives you an edge over the other person.

I think it depends on the setting and if they are wearing sunglasses as well. It seems like I usually take them off

Nah if talking to a girl you can just stare at her boobs the whole time and she won’t realize

Conversing.
I find it rude as well, OP.

I don't like talking to people while they are wearing sunglasses. I also don't like talking to people who aren't wearing sunglasses (to a lesser degree).
