do you really think there will be a race war?

The tension is high in America, with the media's constant focus on African Americans in its center focus. The news is constantly flooded by reports of blacks being killed by white police officers, but ignores the staggeringly high rate of black on black deaths. What I'm asking is, for an honest answer. Could a race war play out? Has there been a race war in world history? What is there to be gained from a mass genocide for whatever side wins? Where do the other race groups (Latino, Asian, etc) side? Why can't we all just unite? Everybody bleeds red, everybody's lives matter.

Nope, black lives don't matter as much as white gay/trans lives. The whole race war got boring and the media is flaming somewhere else now. Even when it was at its head after Michael Brown? Instead of an adult conversation, we had riots which undermined the conversation. Then, The Baltimore incident happened with Black leaders in charge and it was even worse. They killed their own false movement. America got bored. It's over.
ETA: SC was the final straw. Black leaders came out and called for unity and prayer, so the conversation switched to a red herring: the flag. The flag was the bad guy not whites vs. blacks.

No. Those in power are richer than most Americans, so they find humor in aggetating the peons.
Most folks have more to worry about, such as paying bills, families, mortgages, etc than those in power do. Definitely ready for leadership change.

The white race doesn't stick together like other races so it wouldn't be much of a war. More like a group of black guys beating up a white guy. Much like you have been seeing lately.
