I don't have a problem paying property taxes for police/fire protection. Also can see paying for streets and drainage.

What gets me is the EBR public school system, COA, CATs , brec, and the Palatial Libraries.

The public schools are just a day care center. COA is microwave meals, CATs is money laundering, and brec/libraries is just shoveling our tax dollars into a 55 gallon barrel and lighting it on fire.

5 of these property taxes have to go or the parish will be choked to death.

That means it does not go down for the current owner - only for a future owner. you really have a poor grasp of how property tax works, don't you>

Sure they do (my Bull shite detector shifts into overdrive), Saying it on a website don't make it true.

BTW this is my last response to you. Engaging in a battle of wits with someone who is as defenseless as you is boring. Have a great life even if it is only in your own mind.

Nothing I’ve said in this thread is untrue. It’s literally just information

Property taxes pay for services related to the property - police, fire protection, road maintenance, etc - plus a few other things. It’s a tired argument.

Weird. I was told the massive tax I pay for every gallon at the pump to the federal, state and local govs pays for road maintenance. That’s not true? Where does that tax money go then? In my Parrish the local sales tax pays for police. That’s why it’s at 10% now. But according to you it’s paid from property tax? Weird. Anytime they want a raise it’s levied as an increase in sales tax.

Police and fire also get federal money from my federal payroll tax burden. You see, the governments problem isn’t one of revenue, it’s one of SPENDING. You maybe need to sit this one out pal.

The alternative is to hire private security or sit on top of your house like korean corner store owners during a riot and protecting it yourself. The fact that you have never had to call them is proof of how well their being present is working

He lives in California…..you really think police are present anywhere in that state?

All of this is public information. You’re so fricking butthurt about it but you willingly remain ignorant on the matter.

That’s the definition of stupid
