I've sometimes wondered -- what does a TV news show in someplace like North Dakota cover?
"Welcome to Eyewitness News, Channel 7 Bismark. Our top story... Today in Bismark no one was murdered, raped, robbed or savagely beaten. For more on this breaking story, here's Bimbo Newschick downtown. Bimbo?"
"Yes Marv, I'm here in Bismark where today no one was murdered, raped, robbed or savagely beaten. A protest march was planned by the head of Bismark Black Lives Matter, who is also the membership of Bismark Black Lives Matter, just in case someone in Bismark was murdered, raped, robbed or savagely beaten. But since no one in Bismark was murdered, raped, robbed or savagely beaten, that march has been postponed. And now, back to the studio."

Here in Houston we have some Hispanic on Hispanic crime to talk about, which does spice things up some. But I find the news is more uplifting in houston than Nola or BR.

Of the 13% black population in the US, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana must have 12%. The other 1% is spread out amoung the other 46 states. Imagine that for a minute.

I saw one the other morning with the old white grandparents on the front porch in a nice neighborhood with an albino looking really ugly little girl with an afro and it looked really forced.

When I told this to the LA guy he replied, almost yelling, "No!". He refused to believe such places existed -- it completely violated his worldview.
This is the same guy who decided to spend a weekend in a FQ hotel -- w/o checking his calendar. He opens his window to look down at the FQ and before him is an endless sea of black faces... Bayou Classic Weekend.
