For typical passenger cars I go Japanese. The only american cars I really desire or drive are the high end american cars or work horse pickups.
So far the most reliable car I've owned is a 1992 Lexus LS400. Damn thing has 360k miles on it and keeps on going. All the electronic gadgets even still work.

Buy away brother, but when you need work done after the warranty is up prepare to pay no less than 2k for minor work...
