Do you pinch your nose when you jump in water?

Do you always do it or never do it?
Or does it depend on how high your jump is or what your angle will be when you hit the water doing a trick?
I've never held my nose.

This is a Thinly veiled political poll.
Don't hold nose= Trump
Always hold nose= Rubio
Not allowed in pool or drown=Hillary

What if your pool is treated?
Or just blow air out your nose when impacting the water.

No. Always thought it looked nerdy. Never had an issue with water going into my nose

If you r jumping into stagnant lake water in July i would recc holding nose. If water shoots up your nose high enough, the amoeba in the water can enter your brain through the ethmoid sinus( traveling up the olfactory nerve)..death almost ceetain. Happened to someone i know.

Only if I'm doing a back roll off of a dive boat and I don't have my mask on. And even then, I normally just blow out of my nose if it's working properly.

How hard is it to just blow out your nose?
Posted on 2/28/16 at 9:31 am to Pectus
Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Depends where I'm jumping from and what I'm jumping in.

My dad was a Marine and he said they were taught when jumping off the side of a ship to use one hand to cup your mouth and nose and the other hand to cup your junk.
