If I am jumping from like 20 ft + up off a cliff of boat house and I pencil in the water, yes I'll pinch my nose.

Never have. I've seen many do it though. I did pinch the nose and gently blow to clear ears when diving a bit deep.

I do. When I don't water goes up my nose, burns like hell and ends up giving me a nosebleed later.
