Do you pick/bite your finger nails?

The golf bag thread with the guy with long nails had me thinking, how many OT'ers have this habit? I do, preferably bite them but pick them too. I pick my toenails but would bite them if I could.
They look like crap and I'll frequently pull too much off so the corners will bleed (on occasion I've accidently removed a whole nail), but I've been doing it so long I don't think I'll ever be able to stop.

I know some people who eat their finger nails.
It's harder to quit than smoking cigarettes according to a few pediatricians I've talked to.

I pick my cuticles without realizing I'm doing it. I was recently at a thing where a local representative (Steve Carter) gave a speech. He said people with unmanicured/bitten nails have no pride & messy handwriting. Thanks, dude.

My nails are impossible to tear or break off... but I have Wolverinelike bones. Plus... that's disgusting.
