Hell yes. Pay my water bill and get all my notary needs at Piggly Wiggly on Choctaw. Also pick up some pork rinds while I’m out n about.

My Grandmaw use too, we pay everything online.

The Frank's Supermarket in Lockport is closing and they have a place where you can pay your Entergy Bill. Facebook peeps from that are were going crazy asking where they were going to pay thier light bill..... same fricking place you posted this question, online!

I keep 1 check in my wallet “just in case”. Probably a carryover habit from my dad and grandpa.

That same check has been in there for years.

I mail out checks. Don’t like auto pay for whatever reason, not really sure why though. Probably bc I’m a creature of habit and that’s how I’ve been doing it since I was 18.

And I’m not poor, but not an OT baller. Make a little north of $100k

The only checks I actually write and sign are company checks.

Personal stuff is all set on auto draft. I just review the statements online.

Venmo and PayPal for everything else.

No, I pay everything online. My mortgage, cell phone and car insurance are the only things that are auto pay (these are consistent amounts). Everything else I pay manually online. I do the manual pay because if there is a overcharge the bitches ain't getting a dime until it is resolved.

I thought Rouses bought them and they’re going to keep it open?

I have a few that don't have online payment options but I just bill pay them from the bank and let them deal with the check.

Always. I don't trust technology, the Internet or USPS.

I’ll go days, sometimes weeks, carrying around a check someone wrote me. I can’t imagine having to physically drive to a mailbox every time I paid a bill (can’t mail from my house) or driving to my bank every time I get a pay check.

Why?

Mailbox is attached to my house and the postal worker doesn’t come up if they don’t have anything for me. Tried several times to attach something to the box years ago and it always just sat there.

It also isn’t covered all that well from the overhang so anything attached to be picked up would get ruined in rain.

My fiancé still writes & mails checks for all of his bills. He doesn’t even have online accounts set up for his mortgage, AT&T account, Entergy, etc. Since he is good with money and super responsible, I view it more as an endearing quirk.

I did this in my younger days when it was the best option. It’s still best if you want to waste tons of time. Now I pay my bills via bank app twice per month and can do everything in 2-3 minutes that used to take 15-20.

I just don’t like companies to have the ability to dip into my bank account, in case there’s a billing error or dispute. I did recently set Verizon to autopay just to get the discount, though. I don’t trust Comcast with autopay.
