This evening the thought suddenly hit me: Killz, you haven't been checking the Drudge Report nearly as much as you used to. Why not?

I thought perhaps I've become tired of extremely negative media headlines. And perhaps that is just a small part of the problem.

But then it hit me that I've essentially replaced sites like the Drudge Report, CNN, AP, Ynetnews (Israel), and FoxNews with Tigerdroppings' OT Lounge and Political Board.

Why the hell would I replace legitimate sources of domestic and foreign news with message board fodder?

That's because TigerDroppings is no ordinary message board. I've noticed that the average TigerDroppings retard sometimes breaks news faster than the Drudge Report, which is amazing because quite a few media outlets wait to break stories after Drudge does it first. Drudge has become the go to place for legitimate media outlets to receive their breaking news.

Yet the little retarded engine that couldn't (TigerDroppings), a site full of jackassery, douchebaggery, and uncivil behavior commonly unites during a breaking news event to post incredible information FAR ahead of most news outlets. OT Lounge detectives delve into the dirty details of a breaking story and before you know it, OT detectives are (for example) discussing on page 71 of a breaking news thread the entire motivation, race, and social background of a mass murderer while news outlets are still struggling to verify the authenticity of the story.

It's amazing that a sports message board is my go to source for legit news.

Chicken, congratulations for creating a legit multi-channel news source that is simultaneously entertaining and informative.

Massive kudos, bruh!

-Killz

Mizzoukillz, the poster the OT needs, not the poster the OT deserves. Great post. Give me some time to take it all in so I can give you an appropriate response.

After taking a moment to think about your thought provoking post, I've concluded that you are indeed a fgt

Only for local info. I'm not relying on this site for national news or the weather forecast. Ones head would explode.

TD and shared political memes on Facebook are really all you need to stay updated on current events.

Yes. I didn't read your wall of text, but I was on that thread today about the killings from page one and watching the news outlets at the same time. That thread was destroying the news outlets with quicker more accurate info. You still have to know how to weed through b.s., but it's a good source.
