I go kinda crazy if I don't get some small amount of alone time here and there. I always feel like I can only take the elements of my life and arrange them to be workable if I'm alone for a while. If that doesn't happen, things get all out of wack and messy and I don't have any control over anything. It's kind of like mental organization or something.
I'm kind of in a bad situation right now because my kid is changing schedules this school year and the way things work out I can't imagine too many opportunities to make that mental organization time happen in the foreseeable future. shite.
I guess I'll be getting touch with my inner Gary Busey soon.

Yes and no.
When I was on the projects and services team, I would be alone on the road for six weeks, back for a week, and so on. As a whole, it sucked.
Now that I am home, I enjoy a night a week or so to myself to do as I please.

I love traveling alone, can't stand it when someone is riding with me. Like being alone most of the time really though.

I'm an only child so i've always enjoyed alone time.
However, I started dating someone I really liked and we traveled together to several countries and it's the most fun I ever had. We broke up and I did some solo travel and it wasn't nearly as fun.
Along the way I learned, with the right company, life is much more fun.
But I still do enjoy doing many things alone and need alone time after being around people all day.

I like being at the farm doing the same. Bush hogging, working in the garden whatever. Just being by myself. I've always been able to and as I get older enjoy it more. I'm becoming more introverted daily.

Alone is good for bathroom activities and driving and reading and researching/dicking off on the web.
Company is good for most other things.
There are some activities that aren't clearly one of the other: Watching a movie at home could fall into either camp.

With the technology the way it is today, we're all alone and yet connected. You might say we're alone together.
But, yes, I prefer being alone because hell is other people (Sartre).

I like to be around people when I party and travel. And I'm around people all day at work and the family most evenings.
But I TREASURE being alone in the man cave working on whatever, with a cocktail and some cool jams humming along.
