I went to HS with a dude that ended up as a drag queen at some gay bar in Bham. He used to pop up on my Facebook feed when I had it years ago and it seems he never went full trans. He was just a gay dude that liked to dress up in women's clothes and perform Cher songs for other gay dudes.
That would be the closest I've been to "knowing" a trans person.

Yep, I’d be done. For the record with my example, the kid is 18 but they have not allowed any drugs or mutilations for the kid, and they actually believe she’s a lesbian and not trans, but they still use her chosen pronouns and let her use the men’s restroom.
Still a little far for my tastes, but you do that to a three/five year old, you should be in fricking prison. There’s no way the kid came up with the idea on their own and they directly sexually manipulated/abused the kid.

Is it too much to ask people to just look down?

No, I don't think that. I know that. No one has ever stopped them from pretending to be whatever they want to pretend to be. This has never been a problem until they started demanding we all pretend with them and they started expecting the government to force us to do so. This entire thing is because they want to encrouch on OUR civil rights, not the other way around.
