Yes, Shelby Stanga from Ax Men. He lives right around the bend, off the Tangipahoa River, from my friends camp. Dude lives in his Pirate ship and never leaves cause he's fricked up all the time. He's cool but bat shite crazy.

There was a whole family in Maurepas, the Simoneauxs, that lived off the land. One or two of them are still alive and still doing it. The younger generations (40 and below) have all moved on from that life though.
