Do you know anyone that is addicted to negativity?

Ive read where watching the news for example triggers the limbic system in our brain which in turn triggers chemicals that affect our mood and people become quite addicted to that over time, be it anger, negative thinking, etc. Do you know anyone who is only happy when they are unhappy or angry? We all get angry, mad, or in a rut of negativity from time to time, but I’m talking about people who stay in what seems to be a constant state of negative thinking, or anger, as in they seem to only be content when they are unhappy?

My mother-in-law is one of the most negative people I know. Everything is always drama. I try to stay away from her as much as possible. Sometimes I want to throat punch her.

I know a LOT of people just like that, and truth be known, I find the news in general to be really bad news. When I divorce myself from it, I find I’m always in a much better state of mind than when I let that shite into my life.

I don't do social media, I don't watch any news, and I don't read much news either.
I used to do all these things and listen to Neal Boortz every day.
It definitely was making me crazy.
I'm down to just perusing TD, posting or responding to the occasional troll or participating in amiable conversation.
No Agenda podcast is the closest thing to an outrage binge I do, but John and Adam aren't angry--they inject humor into the madness.
I much prefer my current moderated-anger platform.
I overheard some CNN in the airport the other day and just shook my head. I honestly thought it was a joke and just crazy people like Rex who think they're"gonna get" Trump. Nope. It's a vast swath of Dems.
Same thing when I heard someone on FOX (while visiting parents) praise Jared and Ivanka for not taking a paycheck as if they were mother-f'ing-Teresa. And I have to laugh at the 2 v 1 panels beating up on purposely stupid Dems.
Wait now I'm mad and happy!
