Does it seem people take everything so literal and lack common sense to comprehend figurative speech these days?
For example, "All we need to find is eleven thousand votes!"
How does that translate into stealing an election?
Is this a communication flaw based on people listening and believing American media?

It’s the lack of critical thinking skills. People by and large are led by the nose through media, religion, politics. Never really comprehending the fact that it’s all a bullshite stage show. Our whole world society is a sham house of cards. People are easily led and are conditioned to be that way in public schools.

I have faith on "some" humanity. There are still good people out there, although those numbers are dwindling, and those that are vocal are being shouted down.

Yes, I have faith in humanity. Go outside and interact with people who aren’t on a screen and aren’t behind the wheel of a car and you’ll see how modern life is warping our perception of reality.

Except this show doesn’t exist . Nobody has done any fact checking and everyone assumed this is real and it isn’t .
A simple google search would’ve showed it’s fake but nope . Everyone’s bought into it

Why would this cause you to not have faith in humanity?
I’m sure there are still fans of the show and everything is getting rebooted nowadays so it seems plausible…just not seeing how people taking some non-consequential entertainment news at face value is the sign of the end of days.
