If someone tells you that their favorite band is the Foo Fighters, they are a sociopath, and picked Foo Fighters only because they knew they were supposed to have a favorite band to preserve the illusion of normalcy.

most everyone that I work with are pretty cool folks. a couple do irritate me though, as they just flat out talk too damn much. they come to my office and will just talk on and on until I finally have to just shut them down by either telling them that I have work to get done or just walking off.

My least favorite coworker like this just quit, thank God. My boss isn't in on the Fridays this girl worked. I could barely set my stuff down in the morning before she'd walk in and talk (not a conversation, this was solely about her) for an hour plus. Mainly bitching about every thing and person in her life. It was exhausting and even pretending to work didn't drive her off. I'm so thankful she quit.

My department just got a new guy this week who might be the most annoying person I've ever met. I feel like I'm on a reality TV show. My office tends to tease each other a lot, but this guy is absurd. Yells stuff like, "You bitch! You bitch!" at the top of his lungs. You can tell he just wants to fit in, but he is doing a terrible job at it.
And it's not like anyone would turn him in for being inappropriate because our entire office is "inappropriate". We just know where to draw the line.

That drives me crazy.. People who tells anyone who will listen about their personal life. There was this one woman I worked with years ago who would talk about her personal life throughout the day, she would be talking to the woman whose cubical was next to her, but instead of going around and tell her in a normal voice, she would yell it out.. And she was not ashamed to tell it all.
She would talk about problems with her ex husband. She would talk about things her current husband would say to her daughter. There was a time she and her best friend got into it because she thought the best friend was flirting with her husband.. Things you would think most people would only tell someone they are close to. One time someone made a comment about something she said and she got mad and wanted to know why that person was "all in her business".

Our office manager is the trailer park queen. She gets to work late EVERY SINGLE frickING DAY and goes straight to the bathroom to do her makeup, then straight back outside to smoke cigarette #1 of 50 for the day and then comes back inside to talk as loud as possible on her cell phone about her personal and her trailer park dwellers personal shite to the other trailer park dwellers. Actual work that gets done on a daily basis depends on if the owners are around but averages 2 hours a day at most.
Yes I'm mad and I've been trying to convince the owner to replace her for the last month or so since she calls herself his assistant.

I don't understand why smokers get a pass. There are a few smokers I swear will be outside smoking no matter what time a day I pass by.
