Do you have any co-workers who use meetings as a cover to never actually do any work?

I hate meetings. They're a waste of time 95% of the time. There are some meetings where certain people just talk in circles and never actually accomplish anything. It is the perfect method to make it look like you're doing something but at the same time never do anything.

Like the students who ask questions simply to keep the teacher on the same lesson.

I have co-workers who spend all their time on Tiger Droppings instead of actually doing work... Now get back to work.

No not really. I think most people that want to waste time would prefer to waste it on their own terms, not sitting in meetings.

Half of my job is spent running project team meetings. People generally don't like being in meetings if they don't have much to contribute.

I like meetings that other people go to. It lets me have some peace and quiet. I can get an amazing amount of shite done if I'm left completely alone for a couple of hours.

What about people that spend 10 minutes sending an email to do something they could have done themselves in 1 minute?
