But I allow them to earn my respect. Respect is earned and given. Every one has a shot. It's just easier to go through life knowing that most people will frick you. I don't let them frick me (at least not with out buying me a nice dinner first).

I'm married with a kid in school which is enough commitment for me.
My best childhood friend and I are still pretty close but rarely see each other. He has 5 kids.
Once per year we go down to Grand Isle with no family or kids, fish in the Gulf all weekend, drink way too much beer and catch up.
That's always a good time. We've been doing that for 15 years now.
