Do you ever think less of southern accents worse than your own?

Or your from Alabammer does a Florida panhandle drawl bother you?
I know I talk with asb accent, but man some sound straight up country bumpkin and are tough on the ears.

Down the bayou Cajun is the best accent in Louisiana, and arguably the world. Mais I don’t know me how anyone can not like it.

I mean I judge people based on their appearance more than the accent they have. You can sound like a hick but if you are well dressed and hold yourself up well I don't care about an accent. If you look like trash accent or not you will be treated as such.

No, but I immediately think "a-hole" when I hear a New York, Boston, Wisconsin etc accent.

Yeah I had someone from the panhandle tell me the new Orleans accent sounds like a word I can't say on here.

My brother and I went into a Wendy's in Vancouver many years ago. They were fascinated by our accents.

When I moved from Texas as a kid my accent was so thick, they made me take speech therapy to lose it.
I watch old videos of me and I had that thick hill county accent.

I count on folks like you. I do investigations in the industrial arena for a living. I interview engineers and PhD's all the time. I have a REALLY thick country accent and it is my super power. I get to ask the dumbest questions in the world with a straight face. Most folks are delighted to enlighten the ignorant red neck with their vast knowledge. If I ask a question, I already know the answer so it's pretty funny.
One of the lawyers that I deal with regularly finally admitted she thought my accent was fake at first. She thought I was doing it to put people at ease and draw out information. I love my accent but will admit I sound like an ignorant hick.
