I have to sleep with a fan on to drown the "whoa" boys at Ivar's patio. We share a fence. I never understood why a grown arse 40 year old man needs to "whoa" on the top of his lungs on a tuesday

I have tinnitus pretty bad. It sounds like a summer early evening about sunset when the crickets and cicada's and all of the other insects are sounding off. So, I play a youtube channel that has those sounds and I can't notice my tinnitus for the those sounds and it allows me to go back to sleep when I wake up during the night. Otherwise, my tinnitus would keep me up and drive me nuts and I couldn't go back to sleep.
I discovered a whole world of these youtube channels. It's pretty interesting.

I have to have music playing...usually doesn't matter what...will just pick a random pandora station, but I start to feel almost anxious and cant accomplish anything if music isn't playing

I'm addicted to sleeping with a sound machine. But I can't stand having background music at the office.

I do not think I would find fire soothing. May scare the hell out of me in the night.
I sleep with an air cleaner for white noise. My son has a sound machine that he changes seasonally. About time for him to move from spring rain to ocean waves for beach season. (His life is far too together.)
