I hate dip. Got drunk a couple years ago in college and took one because my friends did it. I got so dizzy I threw up (I know, what a poon).
When I woke up the next morning, I realized a pain in my lower abdomen (from the throwing up). Turned out I had a hernia. That one dip costs me close to $2,500 for surgery to repair it. Fack!

I do, but my urge for it is fading for some reason. I went from dipping like 5 times a day to not even 5 times a week now. After a really good meal is normally when I'll throw one in.

I used to chew Red Man, started in about 7th/8th grade and just recently quit. Still throw a chew in every once in a while but for the most part I quit. No real reason, just lost the desire for it.

I've had about a dozen dips my entire life. It doesn't gross me out at all but the idea of getting lip or throat cancer scares the s### out of me. Almost all the dips I've had were getting a pinch from one of best friends who had dipped for years.
I'd do it full time if not for the fear of throat or oral cancer. It would be great if not for that. Gives you a heck of a buzz without all the calories associated with drinking. Too big of a risk to me though considering the ingredients are loaded with known carcinogens.

Of people who dip, 88% say Bud Light is their favorite beer, 82% say Fireball is their favorite liquor, and 71% name Florida-Georgia Line as their favorite band.

I dip Kodiak. Started when I was about 4 months old. My Mom used to take her dip out and shove about half of it in my lip. She said that I just loved it. 41 years later still going strong.

In college, I dipped all different brands and flavors. Being poor, that usually meant Grizzly but I would splurge on Skoal Mint or Spearmint.
Ever since Skoal came out with the "Xtra", I've been on that (Skoal Xtra Mint Long Cut). Honestly can't tell the difference in that and the original long cut, and it's 40% cheaper (usually can find it for around $2.39 a can or even less).

Almost forgot about that. Used to get that in high school. I never dipped much back then. I started back a few years ago while drinking at a tailgate and the guy who's rv we were at had some cope.

Did it once when I was a freshman in HS, couldn't walk down the steps of the bleachers after 7 minutes (I was alas super skinny)
What I don't get is how can dudes play baseball while doing it. I'm guessing the more tolerance you build up the less intense a buzz you get?

I started when I was about 13 playing baseball. Started with Hawkins, that stuff is like candy now. Been dipping Timberwolf Straight

I do, because I got hooked on it in High School playing baseball.

Snuff and Skoal Spearmint, about a can a day and really need to stop. I'll chew every now and then for the hell of it

I've been dipping so long that when I started there was only Skoal (no varieties), Copenhagen (no varieties), and Happy Days.
I only get one dip a day now and it's at night, after supper before bed. Grizzly fine cut wintergreen for me. I don't see how anyone dips long cut. It eats my gums up.
