Do You Buy Birthday Gifts for Adult Siblings?

I always have, and I didn't realize other people didn't until yesterday. My brother and nephew's birthdays fall on the same weekend, so I mentioned I had to pick up a gift to a friend. She was shocked we still gave gifts and how much we spend on each other (just $50 or so.)
So, is giving gifts to adult relatives uncommon? Or common?

My siblings and I dont exchange gifts on birthdays, a call will suffice.

Yep, and 90% of the time it's alcohol. I expect the same from my siblings but I'm not bothered if they don't give me anything.

Not normally, however if I was to see something that I thought would really interest them I have done so as have they. No reciprocity expected on either end.

I call. We haven't exchanged gifts since we were children.

I have one sister and our birthdays are only 3 days apart. We usually spend between $50-$100 on each other.

I get my brother a birthday and Christmas present, nothing extravagant and normally it's something funny.

I stopped buying my siblings presents when they had kids. I'd rather double up on my nieces and nephews.

My brother turned 40 last year, so I bought him a couple things. Dont usually do that though.
A call and funny card is usually the max.

Hell no, and they don't buy me shite either. That's the way it is and we all like it that way.

Usually just a call is all they get for bdays. We do Christmas gifts to an extent. My wife is really into it moreso than me.

Sometimes. It depends. We don't keep track of who gave who what. If I think they will like something I'll get it. If I can't think of anything I'll call them up.

We used to buy for the cousins (we range from 35 to 19) on birthdays and Christmas. But we had to put a stop to that when they started expecting the $50 gift plus $50 for their baby daddy of the week, their kids, etc. on top of it.

No. They'll be lucky to get a Christmas gift from me

Alcohol and drink together.

Hell no. Don't buy her gifts for Christmas or anything else for that matter. But she is a bipolar PITA though.

Only at Christmas and usually gift cards to a restaurant.

I do not.
At most I will take my sister to lunch for her birthday.
