Aliens certainly exist in some capacity. It's silly to think that Earth is the only planetoid in the universe where life found a way. I don't know if they've visited us or if there is a more advanced civilization out there but it wouldn't surprise me either way. Either microbes or creatures that have technology we can't even imagine, something is out there.

Most events involve visitation, abduction, amnesia, loss time, etc...
Hence, some claim they are all reflecting the same phenomona
