E.g. would the act of killing hitler as a child be a net moral good or absolutely immoral act.

Just kill the art teacher that failed him.

Moral absolutism is absolutely absurd. For example, you can't judge people in the 18th century by the standards of today.

If you don't believe in moral absolutism, you might as well be a nihilist. And say what you will about the tenets of National Socialism, but at least it's an ethos.

Twilight zone covered this. Hitler was inevitable. You kill him, and it was the replacement baby of the maid that became Hitler.
Moral Relativity is bullshite. There is most definitely a good and evil in this world. And absolute truth. A common right and wrong. Eveyone can feel it. Everyone can sense it's there.
If you choose to ignore that, I have no sympathy for your soul.

Do you believe in God's Will? If you did, you already know why Hitler became Hitler.

I'll have you know the Supreme Court has roundly rejected prior restrain.

Somebody else would’ve played the part.

Without WW2 when does America come out of the Great Depression? Does the Cold War turn hot?

Without Hitler, does nuclear energy become developed in the 20th century?

Reality and thus truth can be perceived very differently depending on the mind and senses perceiving it.
