No to ghosts and psychics. I don't doubt there is "life" elsewhere, but seriously doubt there is intelligent life capable of interstellar travel anywhere in the galaxy.

My mom woke up in the middle of the night, having had a weird dream about a guy that her and my dad hadn't seen in over 10 years. The served with my dad in the Air Force. The next day while my mom was at work, the guy's wife called my mom and told her that the guy had died in his sleep last night. Explain that shite.

Psychics - No
Ghosts - Tough subject for me. My logical brain says no, there's no way. I'm not religious nor spiritual. However, I lived in a house that was supposedly haunted and had several inexplicable events occur to my family and I and those experiences make it hard to be 100% certain.

Not saying I disbelieve you, but if your parents had been out of touch with these ppl for that long, why would his wife decide, after ten yrs, to call your mom the day after he died to tell her he'd passed away?

Some folks need some biology and physics training, desperately.
No such thing as ghosts. If you think there is, you need to explain the physics. Same for psychics. They are frauds. Please explain the mechanics of each. You can't, just like you can't explain jack in the bean stalk or Sanata Clause.
If you still believe. Call your university and get back to us with their stance. There was a time not long ago that some believed fairies were real. Even witches.

One night when I was out drinking I met this lady who claimed to be the grand daughter or daughter (?) I think of the lady who founded Bottom of the Cup Tea Room. Multi generational psychic and all that. She had the "gift." We were talking for a while, and she offered to give me a reading for free. I said frick it sure. Her scam was so obvious. She would ask leading questions and make vague statements, trying to get you to fill in the blanks for her. It was just what a skeptic would think and completely transparent. I played along with it because obviously I didn't want to be rude, but I left no more convinced than I was previously. People are so gullible.

I think some form of life exists, there are too many earth-like planets within our own galaxy and water found on our solar system's moons to dismiss it. Ghosts and psychics on the other hand are complete bullshite that have absolutely no basis in science or fact. Life is just inherently boring and people need to believe in supernatural chicanery to dispel the hard truth of existence.
