I think the boomers are going to be the first generation to die with such credit card debt even their broke kids are going to fall over when they see the amount.

Dual income families only led to marginally more earnings. And that marginal increase in earnings came at greater cost. Their kids futures
And the inflation that came along with it. Basically forcing most families to seek a second income in order to maintain their standard of living

Like being able to save twice as much for college savings?
That's 10 times more expensive because the federal government now guarantees student loans. Congrats on the additional income

I don’t know Pepe. Matt, while not fully deranged as his college boy-friend has a somewhat eleteist view of the world.
He sure was an ugly little girl though.

I’m guessing I’m a boomer, will be 59 next weekend, and I have zero credit card debt....

Nah my life doesn’t suck. I’m just old, have enough money to not really give a shite and I don’t have to get up in the morning and go to work. So I can sit here and drink a glass of wine and listen to your whining.
Better go to bed Junior. Getting late and that steam whistle at the rock pit will be blowing in a few hours and you need to give 2 hours of your clock tomorrow to pay for me. Sleep tight.

Meh. They, as a generation in general, seem to be really unappreciative of the generations that sacrificed all for them to be the most coddled and protected generation up to their time. The Baby Boom presidents have been garbage. Except...maybe...Trump.
That said, generalizing people acc to their generation is pretty narrow minded and weak.
Unless you're talking about millennials

Millennials voted for Barrack Obama. That hope and change netted them a man who doubled the national deb from GWBt, but now turn their focus on baby boomers. We went from worse to much worse.
Vote for big bullshite promises, and when they deliver to get re-elected and the debt goes up because we don’t and never did have the money for it in the first place, that’s not baby boomers fault necessarily because they’re baby boomers. This is a political idealogical problem that pulls on the emotional heart strings of Americans, and academia is pumping that shite into millennial’s heads like it’s going out of style.
Liberals don’t know the meaning of the word budget, and republicans forgot what they believed in and have become just as bad.
Truly, it’s a national idealogical epidemic that got us into this position we are in, not a generational one.

He called me a senile old man which kind of hurt because I'm only 42. Only my 12 year olds get to call me that
