Getting some trees to plant the next few weeks and wondering if I should move up my order before the government might shut down non essential mail orders.

They should just move to two days a week like they should have done 20 years ago.

"Come rain, come snow, come coronapocalypse."
It is right there in their motto. The show must go on.

Ordering trees probably would fall under essential, I’d stay the course if I were you.

Yep they are specific kind of pawpaw and pecan trees, can’t just find these at Lowe’s. Afraid of losing a planting year if they can’t be shipped.

Other than package delivery the post office should have been shut down a long time ago. I don't need the junk mail.

If the mail stops then the country is a sham. And the people should revolt and kill everyone wearing a suit.

Don't they already irradiate most mail, thanks to the anthrax in 2001?

My wife delivers mail and she works outside 6 outta the 8 hours. Only around a few workers while casing mail. She won't catch the corona outside.

The only issue would be with sorting/distribution centers. Deliver drivers would have minimal exposure because they just take a loaded truck and drive around town not really coming into contact with many people. I'm sure deliveries would be slower but I wouldn't expect them to be suspended.
