There was a thread about this on the poli board the other day. I can't remember all the details but someone was on there citing some scientific studies or something supporting the very thing you're talking about. I think they were saying the AMA or something was about to reclassify pedophilia from a sexual disorder and start calling it a sexual orientation just like they reclassified homosexuality back in the 90's.

Anyone with any background in psychology whatsoever would know how terrible of an idea this would be. Homosexuality doesn't hurt anyone so long as you use a condom. Pedophilia I don't know where to start. That fricks someone up for life, and I doubt that will ever be remotely acceptable.

I think that polygamy is next, and like homosexuality, I really don't give a frick.

I was around in the 60s and I can tell you that we were told by the government that the KGB was responsible for the hippie movement and social unrest. I believe they stoked the flames but they did not start the fire. Remember that the FBI promoted this fact as well as the anti gay adgenda so if they wanted someone to tell them what they wanted to hear this KGB guy would be prefect.

polygamy has social implications that homosexuality doesnt. it used to be legal and was made illegal because the lifestyle isnt as sustainable for a single family unit with one male and multiple females all procreating. government was having to assist so many families because they could not support itself on one income (think old school mormons with one incomes and a bunch of stay at home sister wives).

so i doubt polygamy is next since we have already been down that road in Utah.

I agree 100% but the dude in that thread was adamant that there is a growing movement in the medical and phycology circles to chance that line of thinking. He even had links to "experts" talking about how it was not harmful and shite.
