I don't know. I think they probably would have stayed out of the limelight and continued to live as they had for decades before. There is a damn good chance I am wrong

It's not called "PROGRAMMING" for nothing.

Something is going to shape society's norms and values, and if not parents, and religion, then something else will take its place, and that something is now entertainment, Media, and the public reeducation school systems. The very same who control most of our kid's attention because religion has lessened in influence for one reason or another, and parents are too busy working and occupying their minds with their own programming in entertainment to spend time forming the minds of their kids.

I believe they helped it move along much faster. Without seeing the brutality in the streets many people would not have cared or really thought about the issue. The media also helped end Nam as I am sure you know very well.
