That doesn’t happen nearly as much anymore with them doing online pre orders now but point taken.

Their most recent ratings underwent a paradigm shift. It's no longer about the meat that was smoked but about what a BBQ joint does with the meat they've smoked, e.g., tacos, and on.
For my part, I want the best smoked meats. That's primary. IMO, the most recent set of TM ratings is flawed.

For Franklin BBQ, they absolutely wait in line for hours.
