It seems like grade schools get off a lot.

Labor Day
Fall Break
Thanksgiving
Christmas
MLK Day
Spring Break
Summer

Did I forget any?

How do they get anything done? Every few weeks it seems like they have a break.

I don't think anyone gets off more than the teachers.

Should've just stayed like it used to be...where we ended summer vacation at the end of August, not the middle of it. This fall and spring bullshite is great for the kids, but can be bad for parents.

When did they start doing the fall break thing? And the Spring break, is that pretty much for Easter or do they get a seperate time off for Easter as well?

Not sure about how many vacations they get, but many Asian countries make kids attend school 6 days a week.

Teachers were having to go all the way from Labor Day to Thanksgiving without a week off, like we're a goddamn banana republic or something

Why is that funny? Schools get off for that day.

I am sure you have some clever racist saying about how you call it whatever and it's cool to say it, but I am simply just listing the days kids get off for.

Some, and with better results. Finland for example.

China has a ton of holidays. Probably more than us. But their school and work days are much longer.
