The guy who got medi-vacced from the game by helicopter. I hope he and his family aren't responsible.
That's about $15,000.

most schools require proof of health insurance coverage.

When I was a 4 year letter-man starting both ways for the mighty Ben Franklin Falcons, I'm pretty sure the NOPSB carried insurance for the team in addition to what my parents had.

Mine had to have something. I had a number of injuries that required physical therapy my Junior and Senior years. My parent's didn't pay a dime. I'd just walk into therapy, get my injury treated and get my doctor's note then head to class.
