Do any of you believe in past lives? Or are any of you drawn to certain time periods?

I was born in 89 and am a christian but have always wondered this:

How do you explain how some people have such a strong pull to certain decades, time periods, etc.

Also, whats with Deja Vu? It connected?

Example, I am obsessed with the eighties. Music, movies, etc. I also have a strong pull towards Nazi Germany.

If past lives are a thing, I am certain I was alive in Germany circa 1930-40s and in the USA in the 80's in my past lives.

I don't think it's the supernatural dude

Practically any guy our age who is interested in history is likely fascinated by what life in Germany under the third reich was like and the time of occupied Europe

Fair enough. I still find it strange because the pull is so strong

I just finished Dark (a German show on Netflix) and I realized I can't watch anything about Germany without wondering about World War II.

Like does Angela Merkel go a day without thinking about Nazi Germany in some way?

For those of us who were old enough to be cognizant in the 80s, anyone we knew in their upper 40s and 50s would have been cognizant in the 40s. For people in Germany, despite being 40 years removed from World War II, they would have been surrounded by adults who lived in and probably supported Nazi Germany.

Same, especially when I travel. People in Germany are reluctant to talk about it, obviously, but I've had some amazing conversations with shopkeepers and other older folks who were kids during the occupation or heard stories from their parents.

Same for former Soviet states, and they're often happy to talk to you about it as well.

Yeah because we are going to shite economically, trying to expand our country over the world and dominate surrounding countries by force, killing off millions of people because of their ethnicity, killing off people who disagree with him and using our army to enforce our agenda inside our country.

You’re a fricking dumbass.

A few years ago, a couple in Louisiana claimed that their son was a reincarnated WW2 pilot. They either planned this and trained their son meticulously, or there's something to it. It would not have been easy to obtain the info that they would have had to, and tehy never got a lot of money for their story, so I don't get what the motivation would be.

I'm sure most of us have lived countless previous lives. They're just mostly forgettable due to being shitty so we don't think about them that often.

Yeah ok Chief. Sorry you’re poor, and stupid, but anyone with stocks, retirement accounts and mutual funds would really beg to differ. We are hitting all time highs at the stock market, and I know people retiring years earlier right now than expected due to the jump.
