Divorce Lawyer Recommendations/Lafayette

Got home to a basically empty house after work. Wife had her friends take damn near everything and moved out. Took child with her. Took stuff that is not hers (not priority). Took my dog(somewhat priority). Took my child (huge priority). "removed details".
Any recommendations on divorce lawyers in Lafayette that are "father's rights advocates"?
Any other general advice from those of yall that have been thru this.
Killing me not seeing my daughter.

Call the top 2 or 3 today. Consult with them, then she can't hire them. Phil Kobetz ($$) is considered the big dog. You don't want her getting him.
Why not throw you out? Who's house?
I think the woman lawyer is Susan theal(?).
There are several reason to block the highest costing ones by consulting......she will make you pay for hers if you're not careful.

I wish I could help you out, but I don't have any recs. Just know it's in your best interest to not air that stuff out anywhere. I hope someone offers a good lawyer.

Technically the house is in my name only. I am on the title/mortgage she is not. She signed a document at closing she had no interest in the property.

Was defeated in 2014 as a judge. Was a terrible judge for the 15th Judicial District and not many attys respect her at all

She makes a little more by a couple thousand
NO joint accounts or cards because we married later in life and had all of our finances established already.
Holiday week. Reached out to 3 lawyers already with the basic call back next week.

Do this today! Get a calendar and take notes of every single thing you can remember with dates. Tune w kids, etc. Everything relevant.
This isn't completely out of the blue (i assume)
Watch out with your texts! Say nothing to hurt yourself.
Download a call recorder on your phone and record ALL communication. She only has to say one bad thing to screw herself.
Don't forget you're being recorded too! But goat her into saying something bad...keeping kids away, etc etc
Just remember, when you talk, text, speak in public.....act like your being videotaped....
Make it ALL about the kid.
Other than being upset because of this event, are you deep down happy to possibly being without her? Sounds like there are a ton of issues between you.

This is great advice. Delete all your texts and emails right now and DO NOT text or email your ex anything. She already has whatever you've already sent, nothing you can do about that but in a perfect world you want nothing in writing.
