How is it more profitable to accommodate the 1% and lose another 20% of customers?

This is an educated guess, but I suspect that ther federal govt is subsidizing companies that have good ESG scores either directly or through tax breaks which offsets any lost revenue. This is the "S".

My stance is I don’t cherry pick shite and and use propaganda to generalize entire groups of people. I just used the Catholic Church as something to counter your idiotic post

i’m honestly surprised you took the deflection route. i figured you go with either:

“why do you care if it doesn’t effect you?” slash “just ignore it, it’s not a big deal” but your slippery slope’s don’t exist argument is beginning to wear really thin at this point isn’t it?

or my new personal favorite i saw today, “maybe they are just trying to be on the right side of history” oooof. got that one bookmarked. i likely just gave you some new marerial ehh?

regardless, as i was saying: you defending this is not surprising at all, in the very least, it was just how you chose to do so that i wouldn’t have predicted. boring, half hearted, lazy even.

Its still packed. They own a lot more than just the parks, too. They own ESPN, Disney channels, Marvel, Star Wars, ABC, FX, History Channel, and even a majority ownership of Hulu and a whole buncha other crap.

lulz

They borrowed $13 billion to make payroll during the pandemic.
They are laying off 7,000 workers.
They are implementing $5,5 billion in cuts.
They are forcing an entire division to move from Cali to Fla in hopes most of them will quit.
Lost almost 3 million Disney+ subscribers
They fired their CEO, and their top woke agenda employee.
They lost control of their infrastructure governing board to the state
They are offering discounts on hotels for the first time in several years
They have restarted annual pass sales due to declining attendance
And their time share resale market is in the tank
And they got bent over by a recent shareholder led revolt
