I went once. Average age was about 86 years old. Looked like a Fixodent convention.

I've been on at least 4 cruises and I like it. Get a balcony room so you have your own outdoor space, a casino for gambling, a bunch of different restaurant options, see a couple different countries, and I've never had trouble getting away from crowds to find a chair or spot by the pool.

went on a Viking River Cruise in Europe a few months ago. Pretty high end. The lady enjoyed it. Great dining and they go all out for the tours. I’d recommend it. It’s pricey with an upgraded room, the flight over on British Airways and two extra days. They treat you right.
Just curious, what was the average age? Those commericals look like you have to be 60 years old to enjoy it

I went on a cruise with a big group from college. About 10 of us drove from Oxford to Savanah, partied for a night at some friends then travelled down to Jacksonville. The cruise was for sure trashy but it was basically only made up of college kids on spring break. I had a ton of fun but I also don’t worry about other people or their issues. I just drank and did drugs. Pretty easy model to follow if your not a douche

Those were some terrible photo comparisons.
Call me trashy, but I like cruising. Good way to drink, eat some decent food, and spend time at multiple island/beaches. Plus I love having a quiet space to watch the deep blue water outside, it is so peaceful to me. That is probably my favorite thing about cruising.
All you need to do is learn to avoid the crowds. That is not that tough either.
Everywhere on earth has trashy people, but I dont let other people stop me from having fun. No idea why folks on the OT are constantly obsessed with what others are doing with they lives.
Also go on a cruise that is not in-season. If you avoid the spring break crowds, as well as summer vacation crowds, then it is definitely better.

Bingo. It's crazy cool to just sit on your balcony and watch the ocean go by. At night being hundreds of miles from land with the only lights you see being the other cruise ships is awesome. And I sleep like a baby with the motion of the ship.
