Wrong. In fact, many of those countries score higher on objective measures of expression and press freedoms.
They LITERALLY arrest people for speech.

You are aware of that, right?

The sad part is you THINK you are caring for your family, but you're actually exposing them to great danger. Your performance of manly virtue does not impress me at all.

Why are you still here? You can enjoy that today.

With respect (which you clearly do not reciprocate), I disagree that it is selfish or weak. In fact, I see it as an appeal to collective strength and unity and see your actions as selfish.

I am, two grown well adjusted children, safe, healthy and happy.

Being a man, I didn't hide behind the skirts of government like you do.

Yes.

Governments don't grant you more freedom by controlling more and more aspects of your life and taking more and more of your money. That's just not how it works here in the real world.

The idea that since the government controls everything you do, you've got more freedom is completely asinine.

I'm doing no such thing. Nobody is removing or trying to remove any of your constitutionally protected liberties. This point was established pages ago, when I asserted that state and local governments do have the explicit constitutional power to protect public health and welfare. I suggest reading your state's constitution before crying about liberty. Maybe take it up with your state representative and push for an amendment instead of accusing me of taking your liberty.

I have stated this before, but the ultimate state of freedom for a progressive individual is complete submission to the state.

No anxiety, no fear, no need to choose anything.

Ultimate freedom.

Being against liberty and freedom is as anti-American as it gets.

Everything you’re arguing does the literal exact opposite of that. And you’re too stupid to even realize it.

Far fewer than we think.

What case is this? Also, Obama killed US citizens without due process as well.

I believe it was from the Bilal Abdul Kareem case. Which may have started under Obama and then continued under Trump.

government will use as precedent to grab more power in the future. Now that the Pentagonand the alphabet agencies don't have a foreign war to justify their ever-expanding budgets and missions, the coming war on "domestic terror" is going to be absolutely insane and will likely lead to some very serious conflict on our very own soil.

1/6 gave them the pretext. They are going to frick people up. The solitary confinement, which everyone should abhor, being used for misdemeanor level crimes is insane.

Why would you assume that it is necessary to give up any personal liberty? In fact, people would be more free to pursue their own aims, not less free.

It’s clear you’ve never read Orwell. If you took over, you would murder people on mass who didn’t comply and think of yourself as the hero and not the evil fascist you clearly are.

No, I want to build a better version of European-style infrastructure and social programs. That's not the same as wanting to be European, but it does rest on the observation that we could be better than we are, which is true.

Would you be satisfied if LSU went 9-3 every year? Because that's what you're settling for.

My state lets me make my own choices, its liberating.

Unlike you, I don't need authority to help me survive.
