Different view points
Is that a thing anymore?

It should be, but alas...

Right, Left, Republican, Democrat, you all suck. The only thing worse than a rabid Republican is a rabid Democrat and vice-versa.

All of you, please do the world a favor: take your tribal fanaticism, use it to light yourself on fire, then jump in the ocean and drown.

If you think the "other side" is evil, you're evil too.

Progressive thinking is the new mainstream, but I'll be interested to see if it can survive being the mainstream.

It relies too much on victimization, counterculture viewpoints, and being "different". None of those talking points work when you are the dominant voice.

The new generations will look at them like the totalitarians they are, and rebel against their ideology. It won't be cool to be Progressive anymore (not that I ever thought it was). They will be the strict dad that wants everyone to do what he wants.

Good post

Over time, I think real liberalism usually wins. Any society founded on the cultural tenets we're seeing today (cancellation rather than refutation, hivemindedness, historical revisionism, self-loathing), will ultimately fail.

But that doesn't mean it won't be hell to get to that point.
